Internet Marketing Update, Marketing Mastery 901

Welcome Fellow Online Entrpreneurs!

In this blog, I strive to simplify what can often be undaunting work online.  This blog titled, "Internet Marketing In Plain English" was created to share some of the more technical aspects of e-commerce (online business).  In this blog, I pull in some mindset mastery but I mainly focus on the HOW TO stuff.

If you want more mindset mastery, I pull in that aspect of CEO-ship on my home-based business blog.  It is intended to support 3 types of marketers I attract and work with:

1)  Network Marketers Going Online
2)  Affiliate Marketers
3)  Hybrid Marketers Going Superaffiliate

All 3 categories of marketers are blending, but I separate the categories to speak to the mindset of each marketing audience.

They vary in these ways.  1) MLM'ers have been taught to work their warm market.  If we tackle that primary need in a constructive way, they learn to warm people up online so they are essentially like a warm market.  That process takes time because humans are humans, and they have the key need to be accepted, trusted, and supported.  2)  Affiliate Marketers come from many walks of life.  If they are new to the fold, they may not yet be sure about what they are promoting.  This blog incorporates the things they first need to understand in order to make clearer business decisions pointing them in straight directions.  3) Hybrid Marketers are a blend of both. Depending on their level of expertise, they will be drawn to product creation and/or superaffiliate marketing.

To integrate all 3 marketers, the plan is to build a superaffiliate force.

We accept only the most serious who are entirely dedicated to the success of themselves and others, in balanced keeping.

If I share general content for each categorical marketer, it will be clearly stated.

Because this blog is being developed, I will have reports available soon enough.  There is much work underway to bring you cutting edge Internet marketing.

Stopping there for now.  If you would like to leave your comments or post questions, this is about getting you what you need in less time.  Please do not leave spam.  Spam is deleted when you are attempting to bookmark your site without leaving relevant information helping others. There are proper ways to do this and there are poor ways to do this.  Thank you!

Internet Marketing Explained Easy, 12 Concise Steps -- 8 Months To Profit

Attention: Internet Marketers And Network Marketers Going Far Beyond Warmer Markets --

Tell All Article -- Internet Marketing Explained Easy, 12 Concise Steps -- 8 Months to Profit

Welcome Fellow Internet Marketers and Network Marketers ,

In this post, I address the value of going far beyond just your warm market.  It's really nothing to fear, contrary to what you've been told.  The ones who are saying, "Oh no. That's aweful.  You don't want to do that".  These are the ones who used cold calling as their only try.  You don't have to do that. What if I were to tell you that you could pull in the Laws of Attraction and Connection to do the work for you?  Yup. That's all it is.  You will work for it though.  To activate these laws, you first have to put yourself out there. That part first feels like dipping your feet in icy water, but the more you do (as you see me doing that very thing here), the better you feel.

Most people reading your stuff online are pretty OK.  In fact -- they're just like us!  They just need to see you repeatedly before they decide to see what you're about...and every person seeing you will require on average 15 - 20 exposures (your of image or content).  They say..."it only take 12...but no..I think people want to make sure you'll be around for a long time to come. So they naturally require more.

What MLM'ers And Affiliates Ask

Giving you some background about me.  In brief, I live in sunny Colorado and I live with my husband and my son.  We have 3 cats.  I have been involved with Internet marketing for 5 years now.  In that time, I have worked my backside off to bring you what I know.  It's that way if you're going to "go far beyond what most others do".  That's OK cause who wants to be mediocre?

Now..., one of the biggest questions I get from newbie marketers is -- "What are the basic steps I should follow just to make some starter money?  Keep in mind, I'm talking about generating starter seed money in your business that flows daily...4 - 5 days a week...4 weeks a month.  It's needed to help you cover your earliest business costs and then some.

If you have your own domain, you will also need your own web hosting to mainly backup your website and do some things you can do using free online tools.  But..., you want to be able to cover the smallest amounts of outgoing money by working for incoming money. You should use free means to advertise yourself when you can, but that will be another topic for another day.

Be Realistic - Building A Business Takes Time

I won't start off by promising you the moon,  and I won't tell you there are quick or effortless shortcuts.  Anything worthwhile takes work, and that work must build.  BUT..., you don't have to learn the hard way,

you don't have to spend yourself blind, and you don't have to hop from affiliate to affiliate (or MLM to MLM) hoping to find that golden roadmap that works.  It's already available.  It just took me time to assess many top affiliates, step into some of their systems, and test the hands-on stuff.

I don't share anything I don't do myself.

There are 2 very good systems I know about that do work, and the aim of this blog is to help you assess blueprints at a few levels of Internet marketing. I won't hit you over the head.  I'll just give you a few posts covering these basics, and then let you decide for yourself.

You Don't Have To Buy From One MLM To Another

If you follow my blog regularly, I'll guarantee you -- the top 1% dogs in the offline industry won't tell you this part!  They do safeguard their secrets for reasons not clear to some of us online.  There are how many billion people living on this planet?

HINT: The best and most successful marketers don't make everything a secret. They tell you what's needed up front.  After all, how can they be successful if you're not?  It's no mystery!

Set Up Your Own Online Money Factory

1. Find a hungry niche -- this part takes time.  You're looking for a hungry audience willing to pay for what you have to offer. I know..., clear as mud, but I can't give you the entire pizza all in one sitting or you'll implode. There are aspects of Internet marketing that you must digest in pieces.

KEY: To find that hungry niche -- survey a larger market, then move into a smaller market that is divided into concrete (visible) chunks.  I'll call this your smaller niche.  To get there, you start broad and then you move through numbers to ask people what they're looking for.   This is the phase many skip and it is a severe mistake. If you try to force your markets into buying something you think is neato and kean (only you would use), you'll miss the boat...or worse...identify a market having no paid need for you.

The goal kof this research phase is to protect your cash, not dry it up.  If you are open to sifting and sorting through the masses, connecting and asking, the public will point the way.  They tell you when your messages are off-base, and they tell you when you're right on!

For New Marketers of All Types (MLM, Affiliates, New Superaffiliates)

I don't know why this phase of action is so tough for people to implement, but trust me.  It was the first phase of doing I used.

Find a group of willing participants -- skip this step and you get nowhere...;
  • It doesn't matter if they're affiliates or not
  • Just get a group of people you know and can work with
  • They'll come and go faster than you can imagine
  • Keep connecting to others
  • You can pull in forums to achieve this start but stay diligent
  • See if people (or your friends) would be happy to receive some of your e-mails
  • Then...learn how to insert links by helping these people get what they need.
I'm not suggesting that you're sharing your MLM self-replicated website link with every e-mail.
  • See if you can Google things online that would help one of your friends in need...,
  • Then.., take that helpful link (that won't cost them $$ everytime you e-mail them)...and work with hyperlinks...,
  • Hyperlinks are created by using the word "Link" found right here inside of blogger.
Use Blogger -- It's Here

Start your own blog...just as I have done here.  If you don't know how to set up your blog, keep the basic settings that are already here, once you form your FREE account and blog name. I will admit that it took me a few months just to figure out how to work my blog so hang in there.  It's usually the set up phase that takes some time, but you can get some starter content in your niche by heading over to

  • ezine articles.com

Write a few posts about your products/services, leading only with the benefits of your product.

  • Forget leading with the business opportunity because we're all inundated with these offers everyday.
  • The public has become somewhat leary (understandably) whenever they're hit with, "Hey...I have this interesting secret project I'm working on, How would you like to join my team to find out more about it?"  OK.  Give me a paycheck and we'll talk.  Until then, all bets are off.
  • This approach demonstrates that you're only interested in YOU...not the other person.
Once you have a few posts formed on your blog, play with your blog URL (link you see in the upper left-hand side of your screen).

  • Cut/paste that URL inside of an e-mail
  • See if you can grab one of your buddy's through e-mail by finding something interesting to say
  • Use a few lines of introduction and then include your hyperlink (leading to your URL blog)
  • Do this wherever you can...when you can without being a total nuisance.

Master 1 - On - 1 Marketing and Prospecting To Build Trust

This phase is confusing when you're new.  It's about identifying people who will read your messages...but it's not about forcing someone to read what they have no interest in reading (in the first place).   This is where you are learning what to say..., how to say it...and precisely when to say it.  I got through this phase by studying websites online, BUT I put my wallet away.

  • If it takes you a while to know how to write some of your earliest messages, you can only build your knowledge by using this simple first step
  • I don't recommend you pull in some e-mail blast (MLM'ers love) until you really know what you're talking about
  • The only time groups of people want anything along these lines from you will be when you have a solid blueprint you're working to earn money from your comfy couch...steadily.
When that happens, you will attract people to you.  It is inevitable.
  • Until then, most offers will fall by the wayside...so just work on your 1-on-1 communications
  • Your goal is to grab attention, hold it, see if you can inspire some kind of action, and later on ...qhwn people are relating to you...inspire a purchase...;
  • The last part does not happen right away because you have to relate to people long before they'll trust you.

E-Mails Go A Long Way To Ease You Into List Building

You can use your free e-mail account to master your 1-on-1...for starters, but you also need to find a way to obtain people's information only gotten by legal (permissible) means.  If you try to use free ways to do that and you e-mail a list without their permission, you could face terrible spam complaints taking more time to resolve than it's worth.

2. Building Your List

No matter what the gurus tell you, you won't build Rome overnight.  This phase of business is dependent on how diligent you are when you connect to people 1 on 1.  There is a critical mass point where the numbers come to you readily...but until then, you're connecting...sifting..sorting...connecting...connecting.  This is the most valuable phase of your marketing because it is at this point where you will later monetize (make money) with your list.

There are many ways to build the list, but for now, let's stay focused on starting your Internet marketing empire.  Again...every baby step you takes preps you for later on -- get ready cause it will be busy but you can have a lot of fun!

Major Steps Involved, All 12 (And It Won't Cost You A Dime)!

STEP 1:

Visualize that you're building an online factory.  The first point of entry into your factory involves moving traffic

leading to...

STEP 2:

...your sales page where 1/3rd of your targeted traffic will buy your report.

Keep in mind -- it takes time to refine your list to the point where people will respond to you at different levels...meaning each list is broken into who buys something once from you..., who buys something twice from you, and so on.

This part takes testing and more asking.  People buy from you when they know you will be there.

STEP 3:

Your report produces a stream of cash moving to your PayPal account.

STEP 4:

PayPal processes those earnings in the form of affiliate commissions earned through a major affiliate (superaffiliate)...or through direct pay (when you offer a negotiated service for that pay).  It can appear
in the form of residuals and/or affiliate commissions earned in unison.  This is the time wher you're getting paid as you're learning and growing your business).

This piece of the puzzle falls into place when you form youra extensive network. I will say..again....you're sifting and sorting...connecting daily.  Your network appears when you've worked with people in a consistent manner while building that rapport and finding only those who are dedicated to their success.

When this network appears, massive content and help starts coming your way.   It is exciting and overwhelming, but you're working Natural Laws to put your business into motion.  This is the time where you see many possibilities and must choose wisely.

Joint ventures will appear...but anytime you assess a marketer, you want to interview them to find out where they are developed or not.  Be careful here.  You want to work with only the best, most qualified people who know what they are doing. They are out there online and they will usually attract a very large audience.  If they have a large following, they must be proven over many years of effort.  They will be great to work with ...and that's why they have a large following.

Independent contracting with say...small businesses carries its own risk.  I highly recommend you check out Mike Young, Internet Marketing attorney online.  You can get his newsletter for FREE.  Do not start buying everything he offers (although his stuff is very good).  Just pick up the basics to know what your Internet marketing rights online are. I think of Mike Young because he cautions people before they step into Joint Ventures.  Many of them aren't worth their weight in salt, but there are some good ones out there.  To find the true ventures, you must be willing to work with someone for a while to see what they are about.

If Joint Ventures are not your bag, that's OK. Independent contracting appears when you're working with a MLM (Internet marketing company) looking for associates. The risk here is that you may have to bear some of the refunds so be sure to ask "how often refunds hit for the services being marketed".

If you join an affiliate marketing program, they are everywhere.  You want to only pick the top affiliates who have a proven payout record.  To verify who these people are, Google their names.  If you find anything that talks about, "This affiliate did not pay"..., drop 'em.  You don't need to bear that burden.

When you're moving someone you really like and trust, don't worry about how that pay will first appear. Take your time.  Assess their offers.  Don't just hop onto the first opportunity that presents itself.  Ask what the payouts are, by specific compensation.  It should be up front.  If there are delays in payment, be sure to ask how long.  Some will take 2 weeks.  If an affiliate takes 4 weeks, it may be because there's a higher payout and they're waiting for funds to clear. Just focus on learning, connecting, taking action and forming trustworthy relationships. Take it slow here.  Know who you are working with.

STEP 5:

I call this the FREE Report Phase.  Potential buyers who ask and want your FREE report are then placed on your list for future communications usually appearing the form of a newsletter.  Your business newsletter can be offered weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly. Whichever pace you set determines how you'll maintain that newsletter, but in your newsletter, you should provide quality content so that your readers will grow.

Protect your list.  Protect your folks who come to you for help.  Show them how to protect their interests online too.  Try not to work your list to death because people know when they're being nickeled and dimed to death. Set a reasonable pace for your readers and don't slam them with continual offers.

Diversify your business.  aHere's where you most likely identify some affiliate plan you can live with by pulling in work you can tackle for small businesses, and/or ramp up your existing plan.  Your existing plan appears in when you have enough of a webwork online set up to handle incoming traffic.

I will say that the last option is the most common one.

When you are new, again...take your time to assess people you encounter.  Many marketers will try to "usher you into their neat little program" by advertising that it's the latest and greatest thing.  The best advice I can offer is that you use your common sense.  Be tough whenever you're evaluating people you'll work with.  If they are inflexible, release them.  The last thing you need are difficult, rigid people to work with you and/or for you.

STEP 6:

Inside your own newsletter, you will want to offer valuable tips, hints, updates, aids, reviews, and periodic bonuses relating to your niche.

The best marketers generally use a "3-in-1" rule where 3 e-mails provide solid customer content. The 1 e-mail following the first 3 will include some type of offer where your links are strategically located.  When you build up a listing of various products/services your target audience will want, this is where you can build another income stream (usually of affiliate offers).  If you are big on earning residuals through a trustworthy MLM, you can also incorporate affiliate marketing to support the back end growth of your MLM!

You will see major affiliates all over the place online. Some require that you purchase their product prior to use.  Others will not.  I try to expose you to a variety of marketers you can pick/choose from, based on their highest levels of performance.  I will never recommend someone who is marginal...or even in question.

STEP 7:

Your buyers receive a series of pre-written e-mails.  This stage can be challenging because there's no hard-or-fast rule governing email (newsletter correspondence).  Depending on products you've identified beforehand that you know the public will clammor for, your e-mails will be split into 4 or 5 or 6 lists of consumers.  Those lists cover content headlining 1 line of products, if that makes any sense.

STEP 8:

In these e-mails, your series of e-mails should help buyers consume your report. It is in these offers that they
are exposed to your affiliate links.

STEP 9:

These e-mails also provide links to other related affiliate products, totaling even more commissions.  If you think in terms of layered marketing, you will be bringing the best of the best to people residing on your list.

STEP 10:

By creating a free report, you'll also have something to offer your non-buyers  -- folks who have yet to purchase anything from you. If someone buys something from you once, and they are highly satisfied, they will

buy from you again. The cement is determined by what you share, impart and instill. Quality relationships are based on underpromising but overdelivering.

STEP 11:

The free report and its e-mails send your readers back to your very first sales page.  After a few contacts, they'll be ready to buy.  In this phase of business development, you must be very persistent and patient.

STEP 12:

The e-mails this groups receives sends them to other affiliate products you've provided to your buyer list, totaling yet another source of commissions. To research your list and to know specifically what to market to

your hungry audience is again...everything connected to your long-term success.

Hopefully, this post shows you what you need to generally emphasize so you may create your first online money factory. Because we now see a lot of new marketers hopping online, be careful to watch Internet marketers closely. Don't spend yourself into debt and pay only the smallest amounts needed to put your business into profit. This is about saving your resources for the times you're most ready and knowledgeable.
